Maison Explicit

NARS | Journee

In collaboration with Journee for NARS, I contributed to the creation of Maison Explicit—a richly detailed virtual campaign that merges immersive storytelling, gamification, and e-commerce into a single cohesive world. Built in Unreal Engine, the experience reimagines NARS’ 30th Anniversary and the launch of the Explicit Lipstick line as an interactive digital celebration, extending the brand’s global events to audiences across more than 140 countries.

I was responsible for full custom character creation and environment development, helping to design and build one of the main levels from the ground up. Together with NARS, we crafted three bespoke digital ambassadors—each optimized for real-time performance—reflecting the brand’s iconic aesthetic and campaign identities. My role also focused on refining user flow and ensuring the experience delivered both visual luxury and seamless interactivity across web and in-browser platforms.

The result was a dynamic, high-fidelity experience that guided users through an interactive journey from the streets of New York to a virtual boutique and the lavish rooms of Maison Explicit, culminating in a VIP afterparty. Through rich narrative design, tactile 3D elements, and intuitive user engagement, Maison Explicit set a new standard for how beauty, storytelling, and technology converge within the digital luxury space.
